Shipping and Payment Modules osCommerce 2.2

Help and instructions for setup of Shipping and Payment for our template versions based on osCommerce 2.2.

After having completed the initial setup you can then proceed to configure your shops shipping and payment options.

1. Shipping (Modules>>Shipping)

Here you can enable or disable the default shipping modules which comes with osCommerce 2.2.

You simple choose the module(s) you want to use and click on the “Install” button , now the screen will refresh and you can then click on the button name “Edit” to input the details for the choosen shipping module.

To remove a module which is instaled just click to choose it and then click on the button named “Remove”

If you can not find a shipping module sutible for your needs among the standard ones available in the admin, a large selection of addon shipping modules can be found here.

2. Payment ( Modules>>Payment )

Here you can enable or disable the default payment modules which comes with osCommerce 2.2.

You simple choose the module(s) you want to use and click on the “Install” button , now the screen will refresh and you can then click on the button name “Edit” to input the details for the choosen payment module.

To remove a module which is instaled just click to choose it and then click on the button named “Remove”

 
Added extra payment modules for our templates.

1. Standard Paypal.

  • As a standard this module does not give any product information, If you want more details this can be enabled in this section of your admin Configuration>>My Store: Use PayPal Extended Description set to “True”.
  •  If you choose to use this PayPal module, make sure that you also set a return url in your PayPal account. (Att: not in your shops admin, you will have to go to www.paypal.com and login to your account there)

The return address should be:

  • For those without SSL: HTTP://WWW.YOURSHOPSURL.COM/checkout_process.php
  • For those with SSL: HTTPS://WWW.YOURSHOPSURL.COM/checkout_process.php

2. PayPal Ipn

  • This is a more advanced paypal module where the order info is stored when the customer leaves your site with a separate order status which is automatically updated to the normal payment status upon completed payment.
  • Install as any other payment module.

3. 2checkout

  • Enhanced 2checkout module.
  • Install as any other payment module.
  • If you choose to use this 2checkout module, make sure that you also set a return url in your 2checkout account. (Att: not in your shops admin, you will have to go to www.2checkout.com and login to your account there)

The return address should be:

  • For those with SSL: HTTPS://WWW.YOURSHOPSURL.COM/pm2checkout_process.php
