Google has announced new data feed requirments which goes into effect September 22, 2011. This applies to feeds targeting United States, France, United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany.

New required attributes:

• Availability
• Google Product Category
• Images
• Data Freshness

2 out of these 3 will also be required: GTIN, MPN, Brand.

For Apparal there is aditional requirments like:

• Size
• Color
• Gender
• Age Group

For Apparel products available in multiple variants targeting US , a group id and individual entries for all variants is required.
